Selena Gomez has made her triumphant return to the Met Gala, sans ex-boyfriends The Weeknd (her date last year) and Justin Bieber, and she wore the ultimate breakover dress to boot. Gomez showed up to the 2018 Met Gala in a lacy pink sheer custom Coach gown designed by creative director Stuart Vevers.
The slip dress was made of vintage cream silk gauze, featuring hand-sewn lace, metal studs, and crystal embellishments reminiscent the Coach Fall 2018 runway collection. She paired it with Coach gunmetal heels and a cream bag with gunmetal detailing and crystal embellishments.
The singer wore her hair up in a curly updo, accessorized with some seriously shimmery metallic shadow, and debuted a very bronzed look. Tiffany & Co. diamond drop earrings, cuff bracelets, and a cross necklace completed the look, which made sense considering both her own faith and the theme of the night, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.

While Gomez's Coach gown was custom-made for the big night, you can get a very similar look by shopping this pink lacy slip dress with a sheer overlay ($895; coach.com). Considering the singer is both a brand ambassador and collaborator, working with Coach to create new collections, we can guarantee that this dress is Selena Gomez-approved.
If you didn't get an invite to the Met Gala, it might just be the next best thing.
