Selena Gomez debuted a stunning white dress by Coach at the 2018 Met Gala with a sheer white skirt. Gomez paired it with very gold eyeshadow, a silver cross necklace, and bouncy black curls. Her stylist Kate Young shared a glimpse of her look ahead of her arrival:

Earlier in the day, Vevers hinted that Gomez would be wearing one of his designs to the gala in an Instagram he posted of one of the garment's boxes. Gomez, who's a face of the brand, was tagged in it.
Last year, Gomez wore Coach too...and she brought her then-boyfriend The Weeknd, her very affectionate date. They kissed on the carpet during their big public event debut.

This year, Gomez is single and was last linked to Justin Bieber after she and The Weeknd broke up in October 2017. Jelena went on their break-turned-permanent breakup at the beginning of March—and tonight's The Met Gala was not the place that changed their status.
There was no Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez reunion on the carpet, though this isn't surprising, given the two haven't been seen side-by-side publicly since the end of February. Bieber didn't tease he was going to the event either when he posted an Instagram story this afternoon of his Yeezy shoes (a controversial statement piece given Kanye West's reputation right now but inarguably not Met Gala footwear.)
A source most recently told Entertainment Tonight that things aren't awkward though. It's just not Jelena's time.
"He [Justin] loves her so much, but they both know a serious relationship right now is just too much to take on," the source said in mid-April. "It's been a weird few weeks for Selena. She's tired of taking on other people's dramas and just wants to continue focusing on herself and going to church is a big part of that. She knows the paps will be there and make a whole thing of her and Justin having a 'run-in,' but it's not like that, they're fine."

Gomez is a regular Met Gala attendee as of late. She's gone every year since 2014.

Bieber, meanwhile, hasn't gone since 2015—which was his first and only Met Gala. That year, he famously yelled to paparazzi, "Selena looked gorgeous at the Met Ball!" while leaving the event.
