At age 22, hip-hop artist Post Malone is breaking records.

The rapper, who plays Heritage Park Amphitheatre in Simpsonville on Wednesday, released his second album, "beerbongs & bentleys" less than two weeks ago. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and joins Malone's previous album, "Stoney," in the top 10, where it is still ensconced after 73 weeks on the charts.

Malone set a music-streaming record as well, racking up 431.3 million on-demand audio streams during the album's first week of release, breaking the previous record set by Drake in March 2017.

All of that success doesn't come without a price, at least for fans. If you want to see Malone's Wednesday night show in Simpsonville, it's going to cost you. When tickets for the show, which also features 21 Savage and SOB X RBE, went on sale in February, they were priced at $45-$90.

But the week of the show, you'll be hard-pressed to find a ticket for less than $84. The Ticketmaster website shows lawn seat tickets for $99.50, as well as verified resale tickets with prices ranging from $84 to $256 as of Tuesday morning.

Each pair of tickets purchased online comes with a physical copy of "beerbongs & bentleys."

The amphitheater has a seating capacity of 14,000, so expect traffic jams in the Simpsonville area Wednesday afternoon in advance of the 7 p.m. show.

The past year has been a rocket ride for Malone. He wasn't nominated for a Grammy Award this year, but that's about the only recognition the rapper hasn't received.

This week, he has three songs in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, including "Psycho," a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign that first hit the top 10 back in March.

Malone was only 19 when he released his first single, "White Iverson," but he's perhaps best-known for his No. 1 single "Rockstar," released last year.

In the past three years, Malone has collaborated with Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Migos.

Wednesday's outdoor concert goes on rain or shine, but it looks like the weather will cooperate with Malone's fans; there's only a 20-percent chance of rain on Wednesday.
