Selena Gomez and The Weeknd Spotted at a Grammys After Party

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd did not attend the 59th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony together like it was reported but they did celebrate music's biggest night together at an after party. The "Good For You" singer was visibly absent from the show on Sunday, even though her rumored boyfriend was set to take the stage. The singer has been attending the ceremony in recent years, leaving viewers in awe with her red carpet looks but it looks like not even a performance from the Starboy himself could get her to attend this time around.

The pair was spotted in a car outside arriving at 1Oak nightclub to attend Rihanna's ANTi #GRAMMYs afterparty, a celebration of her album ANTI which was nominated seven times but did not win any. The singer instead threw a star-studded afterparty which brought out some of the most famous people that did not even the awards ceremony.

It seems like they met up after the show as Sel and Abel were seen arriving at the afterparty in the same car. He was rarely seen at the award show aside from his performance with Daft Punk for their song "I Feel It Coming," so perhaps he rushed out to be with his main girl.

While inside, the two did not appear in any videos together but she appeared to be having a great time on her friend and music collaborator Kygo's Snapchat dancing along to Migos' hit song "Bad & Boujee."

Before the party, The Weeknd posted a photo of the jacket he wore during his performance and Sel gave it a like on Instagram, and she also seemed to be tuning into his performance even though she did not make it to the show by liking posts about it on social media showing her support even from afar.

There is no explanation behind why Sel missed this year's award ceremony since last year she went with her best friend Taylor Swift and they absolutely stole the night by walking the red carpet together. There was speculation that this would be Abelena's big debut as a couple, but even if they did not walk to carpet together, she was still his plus one for this major after party with some of the biggest names in music.

Selena's ex Justin Bieber also missed out on the show and threw major shade at the "Starboy" singer during a Live video on Instagram, so it is needless to say that things are about to get pretty awkward.
