Police have released an E-fit of a suspected con artist who stole a pensioner's handbag - who looks like Justin Bieber.
The impression of a bogus workman which was released today looks like an older version of the Canadian superstar - because the suspect has the famous 'Bieber barnet.'
Surrey Police say the floppy-haired scammer visited the home of an elderly woman and pretended to come to fix a leak in her attic, but instead stole her handbag.
She allowed him into her home in Dorking, Surrey, to check the leak on the understanding he would return later when her husband was home.
But the suspect never came back and the victim later realised that her handbag, containing her purse, bank cards and cash was missing.
He is described by officers as white, in his 30s, around 5ft 8in tall, of a stocky build, with light brown curly hair covering his ears, clean shaven and spoke with a local accent, whilst wearing trousers, a long-sleeved top and trainers.
The crime took place between 2.15pm and 4pm on January 16, but the E-fit was released today as part of an appeal for information by Surrey Police.
A spokesman for the force said: "An investigation is underway and a number of enquiries have been carried out.
"However, officers would like to speak to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offence or who has any other information which could assist."
