JAMES Locke has debuted his new hairstyle after undergoing a hair transplant.
The TOWIE star shocked fans when he showed off a thick swooping fringe, and compared his look to Justin Bieber.
James took to Instagram as he dressed up for the National Television Awards, saying: "What's every think of my new Bieber hair cut?! #belieber #readyforthentas" (sic)
There was a mixed response from fans, with many saying they were glad he underwent the procedure if it makes him happy, but preferring his old style.
Many asked the star why he seemingly had lost so much weight, having previously showed off his muscly physique.
One fan asked: "Not liking the hair and weight loss. Much fitter before tbh but if you're happy then good on ya."
Whilst another said: "No to the hair omg soz but no."
It comes just weeks after James shared gory pictures of his hair transplant procedure.
In one, he could be seen holding his hair back as he checked out the white line drawn on his forehead to highlight where the new strands of hair would go.
In another two shots the 31-year-old was lying down as a clinician carried out the procedure.
The final picture was the goriest of the set, with James sharing a close up of his new look hairline, which looked angry and red.
He wrote alongside the shots: "Here's a few more snaps from my hair reconstruction procedure on Monday! Thanks again @ksl_uk keep posted for the final transformation!!"
James is the latest male celebrity to go public with his hair transplant, following in the footsteps of Dancing on Ice star Jake Quickenden and singer Gareth Gates.
Fans asked why he underwent the transformation despite having a full head of hair, but James said at the time he had given it a lot of thought.
He said: "This is something I have always wanted to do for myself as I have always been a bit self conscious of my hairline.
"I'm currently in the healing process so cannot see my results yet but can already tell it's going to look how I've always wanted."
