Dancehall artiste Charly Black has collaborated with Justin Bieber, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee for the remix of a single titled 'Despacito'.
The official version of the song, which features only Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi, has been viewed more than one billion times, while the remix released on April 16 has already received more than 200 million views on YouTube.
Justin Bieber is known for his singles Baby, Sorry, Company and Love Yourself. He has also collaborated with recording artistes including Sean Kingston, Tyga, Lil Wayne, Usher and Ludacris.
Despacito is predominantly a Spanish-laced reggaeton record. However, according to Chary Black's road manager, Crawba Henry, reggaeton singer Luis Fonsi wanted a touch of English on the song.
"It's a big song, but they wanted two artistes who could give the record a bigger buzz. So, they added two English-speaking artistes who are major in the Latin market. Charly just had the big Gyal You A Party Animal song in Latin America, so they reached out to him," Crawba said.
Despacito currently sits at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 ahead of Bruno Mars' That's What I Like.
The remix was recently added to the official playlist for Hot 97.
