It would be the first time they've seen each other since Gomez's Justin Bieber Instagram roast.
In the days since Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's great Instagram fight, things have been quiet between the two. Bieber left Instagram; Gomez hasn't tweeted or posted any images on her social media accounts since their fallout.
But this Sunday, the MTV Video Music Awards—where Gomez interviewed/was ambush-kissed by her then-boyfriend Bieber in 2011—may be the place they reunite.
Bieber is expected to attend with three nominations, including one for the coveted Video of the Year award (the aptly-named "Sorry" is a contender).
With Gomez, things are less certain. She, like her good friend Taylor Swift, was not nominated for any official awards, though she is a contender for the people's choice Song of the Summer:
She is in Los Angeles this week, however, on break from her tour. A fan spotted her at Hillsong L.A. church on Tuesday.
Gomez's next tour date is September 3 in Paradise, Canada—a location conveniently very east, making a one-day trip to New York City's Madison Square Garden for the show before moving onto the venue very doable.
