Justin Bieber knows how to celebrate a lady's birthday! When his new lady, Sofia Richie turned 18 he didn't hold back. Not only did he ring in the big 1-8 with new ink, but we've learned exclusively that he also took her on a trip to Beverly Hills — and totally splurged.
"Justin Bieber and Sofia enjoyed an awesome day together. Her first day as an adult was eventful. He took her on a shopping spree at Barney's New York in Beverly Hills," an insider told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, adding that they only shopped for about half an hour and that resulted in his two bodyguards carrying multiple bags. Their next stop was the perfect 18-year-old celebration: new ink.

"The pair then went to a nearby tattoo parlor for Sofia's first piece of art as an official adult. Justin and Sofia stopped at a tattoo parlor in the middle of the Sunset Strip and were quickly spotted by a busload of young fans," the source added. "The commotion was too much for the small tattoo shop and the famous young couple had to make a hasty exit without any new tattoos. After ditching the fans the pair then drove deeper into nearby West Hollywood where Sofia was more successful in getting her first tattoo as an adult." So cute!
On Wednesday, Justin rang in Sofia's 18th birthday with her at a dinner at the Doheny Room in West Hollywood, California where they were very open with being a couple.
"Justin was doting on Sofia the entire time, caressing her back and playing with her hair," an eyewitness told us. "They were both super flirty with each other. At one point he serenaded 'Happy Birthday' to her. They were with a group of friends and had a table in the upstairs lounge area. They had a really good time." The couple spent about four hours at the dinner before heading to Justin's Toluca Lake mansion.
