In a new alleged post, Gomez appears to be accusing her ex of cheating on her "multiple times" when they were together in the past. The comments were captured by screenshots, which have since gone viral.
Gomez, 24, first reportedly threw shade at Bieber after he threatened to make his Instagram account private, to stop the haters lashing out at his new girlfriend, Sofia Richie.
But now, this ignited a war of words between them and now the "Kill Em with Kindness" singer has fired back with a stinging message.
"Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love," Gomez wrote, according to fans.
Gomez appeared to be mocking Bieber's earlier comment which read: "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love."
Her response saw the internet erupt with applause for her put-down, and the hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty blew up on social media.
Jelena's fight began when earlier in the day he posted a black and white photo of himself and Richie, 17, who has joined his tour in Japan, with the words: "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."
Gomez quickly pointed out: "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol - it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."
Many of his fans sided with her and instantly took offense to the Bieber's initial threat.
"You don't act like you love them," one commenter wrote. "Respect them! Without them you wouldn't be where you are today! Remember that!"
Another said: "You have no respect for us, and then you can't really expect that back either."
Several vowed to unfollow him and he was branded an "ungrateful b******" by others.
Bieber, 22, only recently began to follow Gomez again in June. He previously unfollowed her on the social media site in November 2014 after the pair split.
