Last we checked in with Justin Bieber, the singer was growing out his hair post-breakup, testing socks and sandals, and even daring to wear a very, very large hat. But that's not where it ends: Bieber is keeping his fashion followers on their toes by debuting yet another dramatic switch-up. Trading in his favorite streetwear labels such as Fear of God, not to mention his trusty Saint Laurent heeled boots, he's seemingly transformed from a streetwear-loving hypebeast to a grungier hippie (complete with Hawaiian print).
Posing alongside best friend Post Malone at his concert earlier this week, Bieber debuted his new look: a Hawaiian-print shirt, corduroy pants, and paisley-printed bandana that was wrapped around his grown-out bleached hair. (There's also a new moustache—take it or leave it.) But before you go questioning the, say, granola ensemble, consider this: Polarizing pieces such as Hawaiian shirts (see MSGM's version below) and dad jeans were major trends on the Spring 2019 menswear runways, meaning these "ugly" pieces are, in fact, quite desirable at the moment. Bieber just may be ahead of the fashion curve.
