Easter seems to have had a profound effect on Justin Bieber.
The Canadian singer published an iPhone note Sunday on Instagram with the caption "Happy Easter."

"Jesus has changed my life," the note read in all capital letters. "Easter is not about a bunny, its a reminder that my Jesus died on the cross for my sins and then rose from the dead defeating death!"
"I believe this happened and it changes everything!" he continued. "I am set free from bondage and shame. I am a child of the most high God and he loves me exactly where I am, how am, for who I am."

Less than two hours later, Bieber made a second Instagram post that had some people questioning the genuineness of his letter.
"Remember when I said Easter isn't about bunnies," Bieber captioned a silly Easter photo. "Well, I lied."
