Justin Bieber is planning to release a Gospel album!

Justin Bieber may be following in Snoop Dogg's footsteps by releasing a Gospel album!

According to The Sun, the pop star will feature "Christian-appropriate" songs on his next project.

A source close to Bieber explained that the singer wants his fifth studio album to reflect his religious beliefs.

The anonymous person told The Sun: "Justin is on the lookout for songs which really reflect where he is in his life in terms of spirituality.

"He has always been religious but the last two years have seen him grow closer to the Hillsong Church and it has changed his entire life. He has a totally different outlook now.

"After he finished his last tour he really wasn't interested in recording any music for a while.

"But his time with the church has revitalized him and although he is working with a lot of the same people who helped to make his last album, Purpose, he is reshaping his sound so it is more in line with the church's values and beliefs."

 

This new album is expected to have songs with "key themes of love and redemption."

"It will certainly ­surprise some fans," the source added.

Don't expect to see this album anytime soon as it will most likely be released by the end of this year, or early 2019.

Over the years, the pop star has been quite public about his beliefs, constantly sharing religious pictures on his Instagram page.

 

He has also been spotted on several occasions going to Hillsong Church, which is located in Los Angeles.

The church is home to other popular celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens, Hailey Baldwin, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
