Bill Hader has no problem letting the public know Justin Beiber was a difficult guest to work with on Saturday Night Live. In fact, according to Hader's interview with Andy Cohen on Thursday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live, Bieber was easily the worst SNL host of Hader's time on the show.
"Everbody wants to know worst," Hader exclaimed when the question from a fan came in.
"We both know, dog," responded fellow SNL alum Jay Pharoah, who appeared on the late-night show alongside Hader.
"Yeah," Hader agreed. "It was Bieber."
The 39-year-old comedian continued, "Bieber he was just... he was in a bad place. Maybe he's in a better place, but then he was in a very... it was rough."
The pop star made two guest appearances on SNL, once as just a musical guest in 2010, and then again as the host and musical guest in 2013. During the latter appearance, Hader and Bieber starred in "Californians" sketch together. (Bieber also made a cameo in the 100th SNL Digital Short in 2012.)

This is not the first time Hader has publicly voice his dissatisfaction with Bieber's behavior on the late-night show. Shortly after the fateful show in 2013, Hader told Howard Stern (as reported by The Hollywood Reporter) on his radio show that he much preferred Justin Timberlake as a host to Bieber, because Bieber "showed up with like 20 guys. He had a guy holding a slice of pizza. A guy holding a diet coke. Going around stage, you're trying to fight through all these people to get dressed."
Then in 2014, Hader was quoted in James Andrew Miller and Tom Shales's book, Live From New York: An Uncensored History Of Saturday Night Live, as saying, "I really didn't enjoy having Justin Bieber around. He's the only one who lived up to the reputation. I think that's the only time I felt that way in eight years."
More recently, Hader went on Bill Simmons's podcast and bluntly said "Fuck Bieber," when the singer was brought up. "I don't talk shit about people publicly except Justin Bieber. He was very rude to people."
Well, there goes Bieber's sparkling reputation!
