The pair allegedly 'have been arguing nonstop' due to Selena's jealousy issue which leads to the 'Sorry' hitmaker being 'at his wit's end.'
"Selena and Justin have been arguing nonstop," an insider tells Life & Style (via HollywoodLife.com). "Their closest friends are saying they're on the verge of breaking up."
The site further states that main reason between the endless fighting is Selena's jealousy issue. The source reveals that the former Disney darling "was even bitter about Justin going away with his mom while she was working in NYC."
It is said that "Selena was constantly calling Justin during his trip" with his mom at the Maldives earlier this month. Justin allegedly couldn't take it anymore as he "reached a boiling point and put his phone on silent," said the source. "Justin's become tired of Selena's issues… He still cares about her, but he's had enough of her overbearing behavior. He's at his wit's end."
Whether or not they will be able to overcome the hurdles, "Justin and Selena have decided to keep their forbidden love private, behind closed doors, some place only they can share" for now. The source adds that the decision has something to do with Selena's feud with her mom. "Selena is tired of having to justify herself to her mother every time she spends time with Justin and so it was her idea to keep things on the down low."
In related news, Justin's Latin Grammy trophy was accidentally sent to a wrong person. The Canadian singer won a Latin Grammy back in November for his remix of "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee but unable to personally accept the award. Instead of him, the statuette was sent to "Marc Anthony for Babies" producer Carlos Escalona Cruz who also won a Latin Grammy but in another category.
Escalona Cruz took to Twitter to share a photo of the trophy that is emblazoned with Justin's name and the category he won, which is Best Urban Fusion/Performance 2017. "This is the funniest way to start #2018. I was expecting a #Grammy for @marcanthony for babies and I received @justinbieber Grammy for #despacito remix with @luisfonsi and @daddyyankee instead," the producer wrote in the caption.
