Twisted Fern, Altitude and Riverhorse Provisions are a few of the new offerings worth a visit while at the fest.
Festivalgoers have a few fresh eatery options in Park City.
Opened in June by chef-owner Adam Ross, Twisted Fern (1300 Snow Creek Dr.) has seen rockers from The Killers sample its New American cuisine (think butternut squash salad, $14, and blackened octopus, $18). Ross spent over a decade at Bistro 412 on Main Street honing his skills before launching Twisted Fern.
For something meatier, Texas-inspired Altitude opened in December at 440 Main St. (formerly Bandits Grill & Bar, a fave of Hilary Swank, Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber), with a finger-licking BBQ board.
For a post-screening craft cocktail try the Nickel Bar on the lower level of the Firewood Restaurant (306 Main St.). Favorites there include the Espolon tequila-based Fire Line ($14) and rye-based 1869 Manhattan ($16).
Riverhorse Restaurant's year-old add-on, Riverhorse Provisions (221 Main St.), is a gourmet eatery/market (enjoyed by the likes of Katherine Heigl) with grab-and-go items like quiche ($12) and sit-down items like Alaskan Halibut Fish Tacos ($17).
And fans of the popular Israeli family-run Mediterranean restaurant Reef's, once a Main Street mainstay famed for its sampler plate ($18) and braised short ribs ($32), can now find it at its new location at the Deer Valley Club (7720 Royal St.).
