Grammy Awards: Slow and sexy wins the race for Luis Fonsi's Despacito

THE raunchy lyrics to his Spanglish smash Despacito had pulses racing worldwide, but it was Puerto Rican pop star Luis Fonsi's wife Agueda Lopez who sent blood pressures soaring at a Grammy Awards preparty yesterday.

The Spanish model was clad in a revealing black number, as she and Fonsi joined the party ahead of the Grammys which begin at 11.30am this morning.

Fonsi's Despacito, a duet with Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee, which describes a slow seduction, is up for song and record of the year — although for the remix featuring Justin Bieber, which racked up 16 weeks atop the Billboard 100, not the Spanish original.

The very sexy official video is the most watched YouTube clip in history, with more than 4.7 billion views, even without Bieber appearing in it.

Despacito won song and record of the year in the Latin Grammys but is now up against Jay-Z in both categories.
