H&M is getting sued for its new Justin Bieber collection

Swedish sport chain Stadium takes legal actions against its larger rival H&M. And Canadian pop phenomenon Justin Bieber is caught in the middle of the conflict.

H&M and Bieber launched a new collection in September as the pop star started his 'Purpose of the Stadium Tour'. A hoodie with the capital letter S and "Stadium" spelled out on the chest is spurring outrage.

Stadium has filed a lawsuit against H&M for trademark infringement, Dagens Media reports.

"H&M has used a sign which is identical with Stadium's brand in marketing and selling of clothes. The ongoing use of it in most EU member states is a violation of Stadium's exclusive rights," according to the lawsuit.

Stadium demands that H&M immediately gets banned from using the symbol, and that every violation may result in a fine of 1 million Swedish crowns ($120,000).

Is the hoodie a rip off or not? Make your own judgement by comparing it to Stadium's logo.
