Felicidades!! This week "Despacito" tied the record for most weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, with 16 to date. To celebrate, stars and executives alike joined to congratulate Luis Fonsi and his pals Daddy Yankee, songwriter Erika Ender and Justin Bieber.
"Despacito has definitely opened the doors to a new era of our Latin spice," said Emilio Estefan, one of the pioneers of taking Latin music mainstream.
"Felicidades!" shouted actress and singer Rita Moreno from the set of One Day at a Time.
Of course, politics were not exempt.
"To everyone involved with the song -- congratulations," said Bieber's manager Scooter Braun. "And to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, enjoy the Spanish on the radio,"
The final touch was placed by Yankee himself:
"Luis Fonsi thank you for inviting me to the song and definitely Justin Bieber, he added his magical touch. Most respect."
