The beef between Justin Bieber and Marilyn Manson is perhaps one of the most unexpected celebrity feuds of all time. The drama started when The Biebs used a picture of the rocker on a T-shirt without getting his permission back in 2016. The 48-year-old later explained Consequence of Sound that when he first met the 23-year-old, he apparently told MM, "I made you relevant again."
"He was a real piece of sh*t in the way he had the arrogance to say that," the "Kill4Me" musician continued. "He was a real touchy-feely guy, too, like, 'yo yo bro!' and touches you when he's talking. I'm like, you need to stand down, you're d*ck height on me, okay? Alright? So stand down, son."
And that was basically the last we heard of the beef between the two singers. Marilyn appeared on The Howard Stern Show yesterday, however, to confirm that Justin actually reached out via to end the feud and apologize for acting like an "a**hole." The legendary rocker actually gave the radio host his cell phone to show him the texts JB sent. Here's how the convo reportedly went down:
Justin: "Bro, it's Bieber. What's up with that article? I thought we had a pretty pleasant interaction. Also, if anything wasn't squared away with the T-shirts I'm so sorry. Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that if I came off as an a**hole or was just an a**hole, I'm sorry."
Marilyn: "That was exaggerated. You were just you being you. No beef here."
Justin: "Honestly, I totally thought we hit it off. Again, my bad, if I was an a**hole, that wasn't my intention. Just want you to know that."
Marilyn: "We are cool. People just made that shirt stuff into a fake feud. Let's turn it upside-down and f*ck the press and do something together. It will be the best. And don't apologize, you weren't an a**hole. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn't out to get you."
And that's that!
