It's a stuffed episode of the Must-Hear Music podcast this week. We recorded a full podcast, and then, Taylor Swiftreturned. So the MHM crew got back together to talk about "Look What You Made Me Do," slapped that onto the already finished podcast, and here we are.
Aside from our divergent feelings on Swift's dark return, we talk about Justin Bieber and Bloodpop's "Friends," Dave East's "Maneuver" ft. French Montana, Jamila Woods' "LSD" featuring Chance the Rapper, and another pop return – Aly & AJ. The sister duo is grown up and testing out an impressively mature synth sound on "Take Me Out," and we're all here for it.
Additionally, we talk about J Roddy Walston and the Business' "You Know Me Better," a fascinating mixture of Arcade Fire grandeur and Weezer riff crunching, and Syd's "Bad Dreams/No Looking Back," a sensual, unromantic ode to getting it on.
