Does Selena Gomez still love Justin Bieber? A new report claims Gomez's family is telling the Biebs to stay away from his ex.

A tabloid claimed this week that Gomez's family "reached out to Justin and told him to stay far, far away from Selena." The magazine's supposed source claimed that Gomez's family "blames Justin for much of her downward spiral." And her loved ones are reportedly  "hoping he will just erase Selena from his life." In the meantime, her family has supposedly forbidden Bieber from contacting or seeing Gomez.

This story has not been confirmed. But Gomez does appear to be staying away from Bieber. She even reportedly changed her phone number and won't give him her new digits. Gomez supposedly made that decision after her Instagram feud with Bieber this summer.

"Selena lost it," a source told Us Weekly. "She can be fragile emotionally and Justin is a major factor."

And whether or not Selena Gomez still loves Justin Bieber, she's not getting back together with him anytime soon. She rejected him in March, and now she is trying to focus on herself. She's concentrating on her mental health as she battles depression, anxiety and panic attacks related to her lupus diagnosis.

Bieber, meanwhile, does seem willing to move on from Gomez — at least for now. He was so upset when Gomez rejected him, and he doesn't want to go through similar pain again. He also doesn't want to hurt anyone else the way he hurt Gomez.

That's why he is staying away from serious relationships in the immediate future. And it's why he broke up with Sofia Richie after just a few weeks.
