Who wears the bright pants in this relationship? Everybody.
How was your Monday? Justin Bieber's was eventful. First, hackers posted full-frontal nude pictures of him on his ex-girlfriend's Instagram account (follower count: 125 million), and then he and Jared Leto went to a juice bar in matching outfits. Unlike Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez fans, we find the latter event to be the more exciting story here. That two style rebels from totally different walks of life would converge at a juice bar in West Hollywood while the paparazzi happened to be standing outside is just too...actually, no, that makes perfect sense. Moving on. Let's talk about the clothes.
When we say they wore matching outfits we mean that they had the same idea when it came to "I don't have a day job" juice bar attire. And, actually, it was pretty much the same thing any of us would wear on a lazy day off: an old T-shirt, baggy, elastic-waist bottoms, and some comfortable shoes. The main difference is that, instead of basic black or gray, both guys went for bright solid colors. Bieber wore a pair of yellow mesh basketball shorts and Leto went for red, dragon-emblazoned Gucci sweats. There were some out-there accessories in there too—a Gucci sweatband for Leto, grandma glasses for Bieber—but for our purposes, the bold color upgrade is really the takeaway here. If you want to ward off negative Monday vibes, leisurewear in a relentlessly cheery color is a great way to do it.
Here, a few Bieber-inspired shorts we like—some spendy, some stupid-affordable.
