Selena Gomez and The Weeknd's romance is undeniably getting serious, and the upbeat reports surrounding their relationship will speak the obvious. However, the news came into view with the ex-boyfriend's name, Justin Bieber. Is this going to be another love triangle?

It was not too long when the "Come and Get It" hit maker became transparent about her relationship with the "Starboy" singer. But, Bieber also took the spotlight for frequently throwing shades aimed at his ex-girlfriend's new love interest.

"To have beaten The Weeknd only makes things that much sweeter. Just one more thing he can put up against him." said one insider, according to Cosmopolitan.

While all eyes targetting the controversial exes Gomez and Bieber are not new ever since the duo parted ways five years ago, things have become a whole lot different now that The Weeknd is now part of the picture. 

Speaking of, new reports have claimed that the 24-year old brunette beauty flew to Toronto, Canada to visit The Weeknd's family, Eyewitness News reported.

"He was thrilled for Selena to meet his family. They instantly took to Selena and they like her very much. They thought she was surprisingly down-to-earth and very friendly." said one source.

The news broke out after it was reported that the love birds were allegedly planning a summer wedding, however, the wedding claims were later debunked by Gossip Cop. 

Justin Bieber is still yet to comment on these issues, but rumor has it that he's been feeling upset about Selena Gomez and The Weeknd's supposed summer wedding.

Whether or not the speculations are true about Bieber being distressed about the news, the duo didn't seem to bother as they continue to appear more in love, just from the looks of their recent paparazzi photos.

"She proved to him that she can hang, deal with cold weather, relax, the whole thing. He loves her glamorous side but this Selena is the one who sealed the deal." said another source.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated in 2010 and split after two years of being together, and earlier this year, the pop star was reported dating the singer-songwriter The Weeknd.
