Justin Bieber India concert: Sonakshi Sinha and Armaan Malik argue over actors turning singers

After Sonu Nigam's twitter debate about using loudspeakers by religious places, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and singer Armaan Malik got into a debate over actors turning singers these days. Recently, actors like Parineeti Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor have taken to singing and have become quite a rage in the music circle.

It all started when Kailash Kher said that he is not happy with the decision of the event managers to rope in Sonakshi as one of the opening acts for Pop star Justin Bieber's first-ever India concert.

Agreeing with Kailash, Armaan shared the story and wrote on his Twitter handle, "Agree with @Kailashkher sir! Actors are actors & singers are singers. Leave the stage & mic to us, that's our playground not yours."

Naturally, this did not go well with the Noor actress. She wrote back, "A secure artist wud always encourage another artist to grow their skills and follow their dreams. Art in any form should not be suppressed."

This definitely didn't end here as Armaan wrote back, "I Agree with u sonakshi.. but I voiced what I felt about how singers are shunned in our country & given lesser importance than actors!!"

Sonakshi has never minced with her words and without giving a single thought, the actress further wrote, "And this is definitely not the same tune you were singing when you wanted me to sing for you."
