And to mark the occasion, the singer shared an adorable throwback snap showing him as a young boy playing with bubbles.

A young Bieber smiles on at the camera in the sweet photo, showing off the short blonde hair the singer currently sports.

The cute snap shows how little Justin has actually changed, and sent fans into meltdown with the celebratory message written alongside it.

The Love Yourself hit maker shared the snap with his 79 million Instagram followers, and revealed his wishes for the year ahead.

He wrote to his dedicated fans: "It's my birthday and all I want is to be a better friend, better brother, better son and and better man (sic)."

Messages for the singer flooded in, with his die-hard fans revealing their love for him.

Following an extensive tour of the world to promote his Purpose album, Justin seems to be taking a well-deserved break.

The singer was recently spotted working out and hiking around the hills in Hollywood, as well as hanging out with his famous friends.

However, Justin insisted he didn't wet himself for the photo.
