Well, that was certainly anti-climatic.
The world waited more than a year to see Ronda Rousey fight following her shocking loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 in November 2015. And in the weeks and days leading up to her UFC 207 matchup with Amanda Nunes, Rousey promised that she was going to turn in a classic Rousey performance and get back on the winning track. But after an intense entrance at UFC 207, Rousey fizzled in the first round and failed to last a minute in the Octagon with Nunes.
She was thoroughly dominated from the start and lost by TKO after just 48 seconds.
Could this be the end of Rousey's career? She hasn't reacted to her latest loss yet, but this is going to be a tough one to come back from.
