The Kill Em With Kindness singer has been battling with the chronic disease, Lupus, for years. This is reason why the performer cannot do her usual tour and concerts, reports The Hollywood Gossip.
Given the singer's current situation, she was taken to Brookhaven Retreat in Tennessee. Rumor has it that Selena Gomez fighting her medical condition is not the only reason why the singer is doing the rehab.
Some pointed out that the singer might be dealing with drug problems. Some reports also indicated that the rehabilitation needed to happen to cure Gomez's depression or anxiety.
Despite speculations, the true reason behind the pop idol's rehabilitation remains unclear. It seems that the singer's treatments are not going well, though.
According to In Touch Weekly, the performer kept on saying that she feel hellish about her situation. The source additionally stated that bad dreams are hunting the pop idol.
"A few weeks ago, she called her friends and family and told them she felt trapped," the insider added. Given these details, it sounds like the singer is not getting any better.
In line with this, the issues pertaining to Gomez's old flame, Justin Bieber does not seem to have been concluded. There are still countless rumors that link these two young personalities.
Previous reports suggested that Bieber is the cause of Gomez's depression. Not many affirmed that the singer was affected with Bieber's new relationship with Sofia Richie.
However, Selena Gomez reportedly seemed hurt when she heard about Bieber and Richie. Yet, later on, further claims indicated that Lupus is real reason behind the singer's anxiety.
