Justin Bieber found himself a bit miffed with his "obnoxious" screaming fans last night (October 17) and we really wish he'd chosen a gentler, more appropriate word, like "distracting" or "stressful".
Poor Biebs was performing at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham as part of his Purpose World Tour, but was forced to pause the show to implore his frenzied fans to calm the f**k down.
"If, when I'm speaking, you guys could not scream at the top of your lungs. Is that cool with you guys?" he bemoaned.
"The screaming is just so obnoxious. If we could just scream after the songs? Enjoy the songs, then scream, screaming is awesome. Screaming is fun."
In his defence, he clearly wasn't being intentionally mean - his choice of word was just a tad harsh, is all. Although we'd have thought Biebs was used to being howled at by teenage girls by now.
Explaining why it was all getting a bit much, Justin added: "I've been on tour for a while now, away from my friends and away from my family.
"That's tough sometimes. But I adore all you beautiful people who keep me company."
Don't worry girls - he said he adores all you beautiful, obnoxious people.
However, one fan seemed pretty saddened by the ordeal, telling the Birmingham Mail: "I really felt as though Justin was disrespectful to his fans.
"Not so much us, more so the young girls who queued for a long time to be at the front.
"We recorded the fans screaming because we didn't think we'd heard anything quite as loud at a concert before... and what we ended up recording, to our surprise, was Bieber complaining because his fans were 'like two feet away', and they just 'needed to find another way to express themselves'."
Other fans tweeted to say they weren't bovved though, with one writing: "I recorded what Justin said about the screaming thing, he wasn't being rude at all #PurposeTourBirmingham."
