Selena Gomez now owns the all-time most liked photo on Instagram as of late. The recent photo uploaded by the actress outperformed ex-beau Justin Bieber's uploaded photo back in March.
American actress and singer Selena Gomez uploaded a photo of her sipping a bottle of Coca-Cola two weeks ago. The photo shows Gomez donning a red tank top and sporting a beach wave hairdo. As of this writing, the photo reigns as the most popular image to have been uploaded on Instagram with 4.3 million likes.

Justin Bieber's throwback photo of him and Gomez kissing in a swimming pool was the previous record-holder. JB expressed how emotional the throwback photo is to him by simply captioning it with "Feels." The photo currently has 3.7 million likes, 600,000 short of Gomez's.
Prior to Bieber's "Feels" photo, American fashion model and TV personality Kendall Jenner first broke record history after receiving 3.6 million likes for her Instagram photo. The said picture shows her lying on the floor with her hair intricately formed into hearts. It was uploaded in May last year.
Selena Gomez, who lent her voice to the Hotel Transylvania film franchise, captioned her famous photo "when your lyrics are on the bottle." According to E! Online, the songstress was referring to her song Me & the Rhythm off her second studio album Revival. Coca-Cola has picked up the track and used it for their Share a Coke and a Song campaign advertisement.
The actress from the Wizards of Waverly Place fame may have a magic touch for gathering the greatest number of likes on social media. The current top two most liked photo on Instagram both feature the Texas-born singer/actress.
Gomez's follower base, which is presently 89.5 million strong, may have influenced the outcome. Bieber, meanwhile, only has 74.8 million followers to date. Lastly, Gigi Hadid's BFF Jenner comes third with only 61.3 million total follows as of this writing.
