Selena Gomez, former lover of Justin Bieber, admitted she would not be singing one of her sensitive song on her Revival tour.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the singer revealed that she will not sing The Heart Wants What it Wants live on her said tour. It was rumored that Justin Bieber was her inspiration in that song.

As posted in Metro, Selena Gomez admitted there are things that she could not do, saying she just does not want to perform the song on the tour. She gives clearer links between the song and Justin by implicitly saying that the memories of their relationship continue to hurt. She added saying that singing the song is like smelling a familiar scent and the scent seems to bring her back to a place that maybe was not the best place.
"That stuff is a little bit more difficult," she explained.
It may seem easy for Gomez to remove the "emotional song" from the set of songs on her tour, but forgetting the memory of Justin Bieber is even more difficult and challenging. Her performance at the American Music Awards 2014 shows how she struggled singing it, even ending it with tears. The pain was seen on Selena during that time, leaving the audience to wonder on the reason behind it.
Gomez admitted in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that the song implies the end of her relationship with Justin Beiber, hit-maker of the song, Love Yourself. She said it's the perfect way to end the year, and a chapter in way. Her words may mean that she is trying to move on from her failed relationship with Bieber.
It seems though that Justin Bieber is unable to forget Selena Gomez as he threw back a photo on Instagram. The former couple is still loved by their fans, hoping that their relationship will soon be mended.
