Will Ariana Grande win her first Grammy in 2019? Our users can't agree if she's already a front ...

Ariana Grande released her new single "No Tears Left to Cry" on April 20, and it debuted at number-three on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. And it has stayed in the top-10 since its release.. But will it win her her very first Grammy? Our forum posters have been debating the 2019 Grammys for months since the eligibility period is already more than half over (October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018). Many of them think they already know how Grande will fare, but they can't agree on whether she's sure to win or sure to lose.

Grande rose to fame by appearing in the Disney Channel shows "Victorious" and "Sam and Cat." Since then she has released three platinum albums, "Yours Truly" (2013), "My Everything" (2014) and "Dangerous Woman" (2016). Her fourth album, "Sweetener" will be released this summer. But while she has a passionate fan base that has helped her win audience-voted awards like the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards, she has yet to win a Grammy despite four previous nominations.

She contended twice in 2015: Best Pop Vocal Album ("My Everything") and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ("Bang Bang"). And she was nominated twice more in 2017: Best Pop Vocal Album again ("Dangerous Woman") and Best Pop Solo Performance for the title track from that album.

That's not bad for a 24-year-old who already has four albums under her belt and still has plenty of time to rack up nominations and wins, but will this be the year she breaks through with her first win from the recording academy? See what our forum posters have to say below, and join their debate right here in our forums.

Miguel Terel Kabigting: "Well, Ariana Grande is the early front-runner for Best Pop Solo."

D.C.: "Good grief, no she isn't … This is like saying 'Infinity War' is the early frontrunner for Best Picture just because most of the Oscar bait movies aren't coming out until later this year."

RadioGAGAhead: "If she lives up to the hype, I believe Ariana Grande will be a formidable contender at this year's Grammys. Grande's released consistently acclaimed albums, developed a huge following, has the Manchester comeback narrative and the actual talent to catapult her to the upper echelon of pop."

whiskywinehouse: "Ariana's popularity level among the voters is around that of Justin Bieber or Katy Perry – enough to be nominated but not to win a Pop field award. She is obviously behind Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith."

PoweR: "'No Tears Left To Cry' is extremely lightweight compared to other winners in Pop Solo."
