Kanye West Confirms He Has Fired Manager Scooter Braun

It appears as if not everyone on Kanye West's fellowship is following the rapper on his voyage into self-help guru-dom and fledgling Fox News country. On Wednesday, West confirmed via tweet that he is no longer employing Scooter Braun, the super-rep who helped to discover Justin Bieber and works with Karlie Kloss,Ariana Grande,Carly Rae Jepsen, and Vic Mensa, among others.

"I no longer have a manager," West wrote. "I can't be managed." (A fact that is certainly tearing Kris Jenner apart.)

Vanity Fair has reached out to Braun for comment. For now, West still appears listed on the online talent roster of Braun's S.B. Projects.

West has gone on Twitter sprees before deleting everything and taking a hiatus from the platform, behavior that has foreshadowed canceled tour dates and hospitalization in the past. He's had the switch decidedly flipped ON as of late, as he gears up for the release of two albums. In recent weeks he's tweeted about the upcoming records, his occasionally inscrutable life philosophy, and endorsed the right-wing Twitter celebrity Candace Owens.

About 25 minutes before he let the world know Scooter's fate, he posted some inspo-art that would've been at home on a great-aunt's Facebook page two weeks ago:

One wonders how Braun might see that glass right now.
