Adam Sandler Proudly Reveals His Friendship With Justin Bieber: 'He's a Nice Kid'

They even FaceTimed while the comedian was on vacation.

Adam Sandler wants you to know that he knows "The Biebs." Appearing alongside Chris Rock, who stars with Sandler in the Netflix film The Week Of, Sandler told Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (April 23) that he actually has a strong friendship with Justin Bieber.

"He came to my show the other night and he's a very nice kid," Sandler said of Bieber. "I was in Hawaii and my kids were swimming in the pool and I had a FaceTime going with the Biebs…and I said while I gotcha, you mind saying 'hi' to my kids?"

Bieber agreed, but what Sandler didn't take into account were the 50 other kids swimming in the pool next to his children. "They're going, 'Oh, my God!" Sandler said as the audience laughed. "The Biebs causes a reaction." 

The duo also talked about their upcoming film, and what it was like working with director and legendary comedy writer Robert Smigel. "He's one of the greatest writers from Saturday Night Live," Sandler said. "How is he as a director?" Fallon asked. "Tarentino-esque" Chris Rock joked. "He's very smart, funny," Sandler added, "and he was just all over it."
