Camila Cabello's first solo album, Camila, enters the Billboard 200 at No. 1, dethroning The Greatest Showman soundtrack. Even better, her hit single "Havana" (featuring Young Thug) finally moves up to No. 1 on the Hot 100 after logging seven frustrating weeks at No. 2.
This marks the first time that an artist who rose to prominence in a group or duo has reached No. 1 with both his/her solo debut album and a single from that album since Zayn scored in 2016 with his solo debut, Mind of Mine, and its lead single, "Pillowtalk." It's the first time that a female artist making her solo debut has achieved this double-play since Beyoncé scored way back in 2003 with her solo debut, Dangerously in Love, and its lead single, "Crazy in Love" (featuring Jay-Z).
Fifth Harmony have yet to top either of Billboard's flagship pop charts. The group has climbed as high as No. 4 on the Hot 100 (with "Work from Home," featuring Ty Dolla $ign). Fifth Harmony has climbed as high as No. 4 on the Billboard 200 twice—once with Cabello, once without her.
Cabello joins an elite club of female artists who made the top five on the Billboard 200 as part of a group and later hit No. 1 with a solo album. She follows Janis Joplin (Big Brother and the Holding Company), Diana Ross (Diana Ross & the Supremes), Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac), Lauryn Hill (Fugees), Beyoncé and LeToya (both of Destiny's Child), Selena Gomez (Selena Gomez & the Scene), and Gwen Stefani (No Doubt).
"Havana" tallied the most weeks at No. 2 for a future No. 1 song since Justin Bieber's "Sorry," which spent eight weeks at No. 2 before finally moving up to the top spot two years ago.

"Havana" reaches No. 1 in its 23rd chart week. That's the slowest climb for a No. 1 hit since Sia's "Cheap Thrills" (featuring Sean Paul) topped the chart in its 23rd week in the summer of 2016. (The last single to take an even more leisurely climb to No. 1? John Legend's "All of Me," which reached the top spot in its 30th week in May 2014.)
Cabello's follow-up, "Never Be the Same," leaps from No. 65 to No. 30 in its fifth week. It's Cabello's fourth top 40 hit as a solo artist, which matches the four top 40 hits she earned with Fifth Harmony.
"Havana" spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart late last year. Cabello was born in Eastern Havana, Cuba. "Havana" is the first song by an artist who was born in Cuba to become a transatlantic No. 1 since Perez Prado's mambo instrumental smash "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White" in 1955.
Top Songs
Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" dips from No. 1 to No. 2 in its 21st week on the Hot 100. The song logged six weeks at No. 1. It sold 82K digital copies this week, which allows it to hold at No. 1 on Top Digital Songs for the eighth week.
Post Malone's "Rockstar" (featuring 21 Savage) rebounds from No. 4 to No. 3 in its 18th week. The song spent eight weeks at No. 1. The song returns to No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. This is its 14th week on top. That's the longest run at No. 1 for a single by a white lead artist since Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" featuring T.I. + Pharrell logged 16 weeks on top in 2013. Only one other song by a white lead artist has logged 14 or more weeks at No. 1 on this chart. That's Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's "Thrift Shop" (featuring Wanz), which spent 14 weeks at No. 1 earlier in 2013. Note that all three of these hits feature African-American artists.

Bruno Mars & Cardi B's "Finesse" dips from No. 3 to No. 4 in its third week.
Halsey lands her second top five hit as "Bad at Love" jumps from No. 7 to No. 5 in its 20th week.
Imagine Dragons' "Thunder" holds at No. 6 in its 38th week. It peaked at No. 4. "Thunder" logs its 12th week at No. 1 on Top Rock Songs.
G-Eazy's "No Limit" (featuring A$AP Rocky & Cardi B) drops from No. 5 to No. 7 in its 19th week. It peaked at No. 4.
Dua Lipa's "New Rules" jumps from No. 11 to No. 8 in its 25th week. That's the longest slog to the top 10 since gnash's "I Hate U I Love U" (featuring Olivia O'Brien) also took 25 weeks to crack the top 10 in October 2016. "New Rules" spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart last August. So English fans will always think of this as a summer song, while American fans will remember it as a song that was a hit in the dead of winter.

Sam Smith's "Too Good at Goodbyes" dips No. 8 to No. 9 in its 19th week. The song peaked at No. 4.
"Motorsport," a collabo by Migos, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B, holds at No. 10 in its 12th week. It peaked at No. 6. This is fourth straight week that Cardi B has had three songs in the top 10, doubling the record among women. Ashanti had three songs in the top 10 for two weeks in 2002.
Justin Timberlake's "Filthy" drops out of the top 10 after debuting at No. 9 last week. I think it will be back.
Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line's "Meant to Be" jumps from No. 18 to No. 17 in its 13th week. The song logs its eighth week at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs.

Eminem's "River" (featuring Ed Sheeran) jumps to No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, displacing Sheeran's "Perfect." This is the first time that an artist has helped boot himself out of the No. 1 spot in the U.K. since Justin Bieber did it last summer with his featured roles on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" and DJ Khaled's "I'm the One." On the Hot 100, "River" has climbed as high as No. 11.
Top Albums
The Greatest Showman dips to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 after spending two weeks at No. 1. It outsold Cabello's album in traditional album sales (70K to 65K), but fell behind its rival when digital track sales and streaming data were factored in. This is the first time in nearly five months that the week's best-selling album hasn't ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200. This last happened in August when Lil Uzi Vert's Luv Is Rage 2 ranked first on the multi-metric chart, even though Queens of the Stone Age's Villains outsold it in traditional album sales. This is the third time that a soundtrack has been the week's best-seller in traditional album sales but has been denied the No. 1 spot. Moana and La La Land also experienced this fate. (Both soundtracks lost out to the Weekend's Starboy when all factors were considered.)
The Greatest Showman logs its fourth week at No. 1 on Top Soundtracks. It spends its second week at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart. It's the first soundtrack to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 in both the U.S. and the U.K. since Titanic in 1998. It's the first soundtrack from a musical to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 in both countries since Grease in 1978.

Post Malone's Stoney inches up from No. 5 to No. 4 in its 58th week. This equals its highest ranking to date.

The Cranberries' Stars: The Best Of 1992-2002 debuts at No.16 in the wake of the death last week of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan. It's the group's fifth top 20 album. This is the first time the 2002 compilation has charted, though it has sold 538K copies in traditional album sales, which shows how catalog albums can sell steadily over time. The album enters Top Catalog Albums at No. 1, displacing Ed Sheeran's x.
This is the fourth time in the past eight months that an album by a group has topped the catalog chart in the wake of the death of a key group member. It follows (working backwards chronologically) Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' Greatest Hits (Tom Petty), Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory (Chester Bennington), and Soundgarden'sSuperunknown (Chris Cornell).
Diana Ross's Diamond Diana: The Legacy Collection debuts at No. 30. This gives Ross a more than 53-year span of top 30 albums. She first cracked the top 30 in the fall of 1964 with the Supremes' Where Did Our Love Go.
Kane Brown's Kane Brown drops from No. 27 to No. 31 in its 59th week. The album peaked at No. 5. The album holds at No. 1 on Top Country Albums for a fifth week. That's the longest hold on the top spot for a debut album since Chris Stapleton's solo debut album Traveller logged 29 weeks at No. 1 from 2015 to 2017.
Coming Attractions: Fall Out Boy's MANIA is on track to debut at No. 1 next week. Also due: LANCO's Hallelujah Nights and the Shins' The Worms Heart.
