Shrek and Donkey embark on their gallant quest to save Princess Fiona from a fire-breathing dragon (and a handsome prince) in the latest tour of Shrek The Musical.

Back by popular demand, the fairy tale opens at Edinburgh Playhouse on Tuesday. Call The Midwife's Laura Main stars as Princess Fiona, with feisty Lord Farquaad and a band of mythical misfits in tow.

It visits the Palace Theatre in Manchester from January 16 and tours until 2019.
