Justin Bieber has left media in Australia fuming, after allegedly shouting at reporters to "f... off" - but the pop star says it's a misunderstanding.
A shirtless Bieber pulled the finger at news crews on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. 7 News footage showed him shouting at reporters filming his private island.
In a video later uploaded to the star's Instagram account, Bieber claimed it was all an Australian-themed joke.
He said his stream of "profanity" was an imitation of Australian comedy Summer Heights High.

The faux-documentary comedy show followed student Jonah Takalua as he got into trouble around Summer Heights High.
"I said puck you miss, there's a difference between bullying him and joking around," Bieber said in a self-filmed video, quoting the show.
In the video, he talked to himself and answered typed questions that interrupted his shirtless piece to camera.
The Canadian popstar is New Zealand-bound now, after shows across Australia as part of his Purpose Tour.
The star had reportedly been staying at Richard Branson's Makepeace Island resort while staying in the Sunshine Coast.
Bieber is due to play in Auckland on Saturday night.
His Brisbane show was described as being full of phlegm. He was forced to stop mid-song multiple times due to coughing fits before he eventually apologised, saying "I think I must be coming down with something."
