Is Jelena over for good? Justin Bieber doesn't want to get back together with Selena Gomez. And he didn't pay for her rehab stint, despite a crazy new rumor.
A tabloid claimed this week that Bieber sent Gomez "hundreds of thousands to pay for everything from private jet bills to the recent stay in rehab." Gomez recently entered a treatment facility in Tennessee after canceling her tour to focus on her mental health.

The insider added, "This is his way of staying in her life, as well as making himself feel less guilty for screwing her over."
But insiders confirm that Bieber did not pay for her rehab. A source close to Gomez told Gossip Cop that this latest report is "untrue."
In fact, there's no evidence that Bieber and Gomez have even been in contact recently. Gomez reportedly changed her phone number last month so Bieber couldn't call her anymore.
Bieber, for his part, seems to have accepted that Gomez is moving on. He even had a fling with Sofia Richie, though that only lasted a few weeks.

"It was super-hot and heavy, and because Justin doesn't want a relationship right now, he wanted to cool things down," a source told E! News. "It wasn't an intentional cool-off, [it] just sort of happened on its own."
Indeed, Bieber doesn't want a serious relationship with anyone right now. He remembers how awful it was when Gomez rejected him earlier this year. So he is sticking to casual flings for the time being. That way, he can't hurt anyone else, or get hurt himself.
"These girls all go crazy for him, but he's not settling down," a source previously told People. "It's virtually impossible where he's at in his life and career for anything to last with these girls."

And Justin Bieber is probably better off staying single now anyway. He recently went on several crazy rants against his fans, which has some wondering if he is dealing with larger issues.
Of course, things could change in the next six months to a year. And Bieber and Gomez might decide to give their relationship another chance. But while Jelena may not be over for good, Bieber and Gomez are not getting back together anytime soon.
