Justin Bieber has seemingly gone public with his relationship with Sofia Richie, daughter of legendary singer Lionel Richie... but Us magazine reports that many of his fans are not on board with the development!
After Biebs posted a series of cute pics of the couple, many fans snapped, posting insults about the girl perceived to be a rival for his affections.
In an Instagram post late Saturday night, Bieber wrote, "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like".

The singer is currently hanging out with Richie, who is just 17, in Tokyo.
