Singer Halsey revealed her terrifying experience of having a miscarriage while on tour last year.
The 21-year-old pop singer from New Jersey spilled it all in an interview with Rolling Stone, telling the writer — who once documented her own miscarriage — that she too went through one.
Halsey, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, said her entire career flashed before her eyes, making her wonder what would even happen if she went through with the pregnancy. But before it got that far, the Rolling Stone writer described Halsey as "screaming on a hotel bed, bloody, naked from the waist down, hours before she's to go onstage."
"That was the moment of my life where I thought to myself, 'I don't feel like a f-----g human being anymore.' This thing, this music, Halsey, whatever it is that I'm doing, took precedence and priority over every decision that I made regarding this entire situation from the moment I found out until the moment it went wrong. I walked offstage and went into the parking lot and just started throwing up," Halsey recalled.

"I beat myself up for it, because I think that the reason it happened is just the lifestyle I was living. I wasn't drinking. I wasn't doing drugs. I was f-----g overworked — in the hospital every couple of weeks because I was dehydrated, needing bags of IVs brought to my greenroom," she explained. "I was anemic, I was fainting. My body just broke the f--k down."
The "Ghost" singer documented the craziest part of all: performing hours later.

"It was the angriest performance I've ever done in my life," she said.
The young woman then shared how scary the idea of being alone is and how easily her career could have been ruined — but that wasn't what mattered to her anymore.
"I want to be a mom more than I want to be a pop star," Halsey said. "More than I want to be anything in the world."
