All About Justin Bieber: Sean Gore to perform with Justin Bieber

A resident of Gaston, NC, Sean Michael is the grandson of Union resident Barbara Gore and lives part of the year in Union along with the rest of his family.

UNION — A 10-year-old who has been performing since he was three and is in a boy band with his older brothers will realize another milestone in his young life when he dances on stage with Justin Bieber this evening.

Sean Michael Gore is a member of TGB (The Gore Boyz), a boy band he formed with his brothers, Edwin and Herman. Residents of Gaston, NC, they are the grandsons of Union resident Barbara Gore and live in Union at their home at 301 S. Church St. during the summer and on holidays. Their father is Dr. Herman Gore who also serves the manager for TGB.

In a telephone interview with The Union Times, Dr. Gore announced that Sean Michael had been selected by Justin Bieber to perform with him on stage during the Greensboro, NC stop of his Purpose World Tour. The show is being held at the Greensboro Coliseum and Dr. Gore said that Sean Michael will dance with Bieber during the latter's performance of "Children."

Sean Michael won the opportunity to perform with the pop star by entering an online contest where he had to explain why he should dance on stage with Bieber. He was one of four children in North Carolina selected to perform with the singer during this evening's show.

Dr. Gore said that his son has been a "Belieber," a fan of the pop star since he was four years old. He said that at that time, Sean Michael performed Bieber's song "U Smile" on his drum kit. Sean Michael's performance was videotaped by his parents and Dr. Gore said that when his son learned about the online contest to dance with Bieber, he used some of that video along with other footage of him singing and dancing to Bieber's songs as his entry.

While performing on stage with Bieber will be a milestone and a dream come true for his son, Dr. Gore said Sean Michael has been performing for some time. He said that Sean Michael has been performing since he was three and today performs with his brothers in TGB where he and his brothers sing, play music, and dance, performing Pop and R&B.

Dr. Gore said his sons have recorded songs and made videos including "Hand Clap (Superman like Cam)" which they recorded in honor of Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. He said the video has already had 150,000 views on youtube.
