Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are not headed for a split, despite reports. While the couple's reunion may not last forever, they are currently still very much together. Gossip Cop can bust the wrong breakup stories.

This untrue narrative started with Life & Style, which claims in its new issue that Bieber and Gomez are "on the rocks." A so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "Selena and Justin have been arguing nonstop. Their closest friends are saying they're on the verge of a breakup." The supposed source alleges Gomez "can't get over her jealousy issues" while Bieber has "become tired of Selena's issues."

"He still cares about her, but he's had enough of her overbearing behavior. He's at his wit's ends,"' the purported tipster claims to the gossip magazine. Notably, this is substantially different from previous stories featured by the tabloid. In November, the outlet deemed Gomez a "pregnant bride." Later that month, it was alleged she and Bieber were living together. In December, the publication asserted they were planning a "secret wedding." That storyline continued in January with an article insisting Bieber and Gomez had Caribbean nuptials in the works.

None of those contentions are mentioned in this latest report about the pair breaking up. Could it be that Life & Style didn't know what it was talking about then and still doesn't now? Quite frankly, yes. And HollywoodLife is just as guilty. It rushed to pick up the magazine's allegations without any fact-checking, even exclaiming "yikes" at the assertions. The website admitted it was "not sure if we should actually expect a Jelena breakup soon," but still saw fit to spread the claims, anyway. Celebrity Insider did the same, regurgitating the misinformation and declaring, "Rumor has it Selena and Justin are already over it!"

Well, far from being "over" their romance, Gomez and Bieber spent the night out together on Wednesday. They attended church, after which the singer-actress watched his latest hockey game. It seems likely Life & Style concocted its split story because the on-and-off duo weren't seen together much in the last month. Of course, they needn't publicly step out together to still be in a relationship.

To no one's surprise, the site known as HollywoodLies is now flip-flopping. "Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Slam Split Rumors By Finally Reuniting At His Hockey Game," reads the blog's latest headline. Of course, the online publication takes no responsibility for contributing to those "split rumors" and solely points the finger at Life & Style.
