Billboard Hot 100: Drake ('God's Plan') debuts at number-one the day after Grammys say 'No ...

It was a historic week on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart as Canadian rapper Drake make two big debuts in the top-10: "God's Plan" at number-one and "Diplomatic Immunity" at number-seven. He is one of only two artists ever to debut two songs in the top-10 at once (the other was Ed Sheeran in 2017 with "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill"), and he's the only artist ever to achieve that feat twice. It's interesting timing as the Grammys on Sunday night just said "No thanks" to rap music again in the general field. Drake already decided not to submit his music for consideration in this year's race, and I'm guessing he won't bother next year either.

"God's Plan" is Drake's fourth number-one hit following "What's My Name?" (2010) and "Work" (2016) with Rihanna and "One Dance" (2016) with WizKid and Kyla. It's the 29th song in Billboard history to debut in the top spot and the first to do so since DJ Khaled's star-studded collaboration "I'm the One" last May with Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne.

"God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity" were released together on January 19 as a two-song EP, "Scary Hours." And Drake's big debut knocks Camila Cabello's "Havana" out of the top spot; she finally ascended to the Hot 100 summit for the first time last week after months spent hovering in the top three. This week she dips to number-three while Sheeran holds steady in the runner-up position with "Perfect." Another former chart-topper, "Rockstar" by Post Malone, is down one spot to number-four, while Grammy champ Bruno Mars comes in at number-five with his "Finesse" remix with Cardi B.

Find out what else made the top-10 on this week's chart in the video above.
