The star of 23 years, which has put an end to a world tour in July, has posted a message on Instagram in support of the struggle of this movement, denouncing police violence against Blacks.
"I'm a Canadian white and will never know what it is like to be a Black american, but what I do know is that I want to do something and to use my voice to denounce racism," he wrote. "This is a real problem, as I had also seen this in my life," he added, in the caption of a photo of the logo " Black Lives Matter ".
Apology after a racist joke
The former child-star is adventure usually not on the ground of the policy. In 2014 an old video of Justin Bieber telling a racist joke and using the very offensive word " nigger ", when he was 15 years old, on the surface. The singer had apologized in the aftermath.
