Selena Gomez finally addresses her rumoured romance with Justin Bieber

After being spotted riding bikes, having breakfast and kissing at an ice hockey game, we're fairly certain Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber and back together

However, as most things involving celebrities, break-ups, and other celebrities, it was all rumours — until now.

Selena Gomez has finally spoken out about her relationship with Bieber post-The Weeknd break-up, and although it isn't exactly the most affirming thing we've ever read, it does lead us to read between the lines and realise that these old flames are definitely back on.

Covering Billboard's latest issue, Gomez opens up about her relationship with Bieber, saying "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

She also talked about her famous friends, reminding us how far she's come since those Disney days.

"I mean, I grew up with Demi [Lovato]. Nick and Joe [Jonas] and Miley [Cyrus] — we've gone through seasons in our lives. I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is."

She also opened up about her break-up with The Weeknd, saying the pair ended as "best friends".

"Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]. I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."

New boyfriends, old boyfriends, old friends, Gomez is on fire — thanks for clarifying, Selena.

Selena Gomez Talks Health, Love and Justin Bieber at Billboard Women in Music 2017

Selena Gomez, Billboard's "Woman of the Year," has gone through a lot in 2017. From producing the hit Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, to evolving her music style with singles like "Fetish" and "Bad Liar," to being open about her recent kidney transplant, Gomez has experienced it all.

Before the 2017 Women in Music event, Gomez stopped by the red carpet to talk to Billboard's Chelsea Briggs and Keith Caulfield about her intense 2017, new music, and reuniting with Justin Bieber.

When asked about being crowned "Woman of the Year," the multitalented star called it an "honor." "Honestly, I don't know if I feel like I deserve it sometimes but I am so honored to be part of an industry where there is real movement for women. I think it's important, I couldn't be more thrilled."

After enduring a kidney transplant earlier this year, Gomez reveals that the whole experience made her look at life "a little differently." "I'm good, I'm really good," she says with a smile.

Recently, Gomez has been seen reuniting with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber. When asked about the influence Bieber has had on her life for the last few years, the "Wolves" singer says she thinks no one "truly actually cares." "It's not really my concern anymore," Gomez says of how people think she should live her life. "My family is great. My health is great. I love deeply and I think that's just who I am. I'm not really ashamed."

Selena Gomez Reveals Why She Reconnected with Justin Bieber

After Selena Gomez dating The Weeknd for a little less than a year, the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer has been spending a lot of time with former boyfriend Justin Bieber. Now, thanks to a new interview, we know why.

In the December issue of Billboard, in which Gomez is featured as the publication's Woman of the Year, she discussed why she decided it was time to reunite with the "Sorry" singer.

"I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20," Gomez said. "I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right, but that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

That line of thinking didn't end with the Biebs, as she said she also reconnected with a lot of friends she hasn't spoken to in quite some time.

"I mean, I grew up with Demi [Lovato]. Nick and Joe [Jonas] and Miley [Cyrus] - we've gone through seasons in our lives," she said. "I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is. It comes back to the idea of me remaining full."

While it sure looks like she and Justin are back together, Billboard asked her about the best part of being single.

"The best part? It's actually... you know what, though? Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]," she answered. "I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other] and that was pretty remarkable for me."

The positivity surrounding her life at the moment stems from her recent kidney transplant.

"I just kept thinking about how much my body is my own," she said. "Ever since I was 7, my life always felt like I was giving to someone else. I felt really alone even though I had a lot of great people around me, but the decisions I was making, were they ever for me? [After the surgery] I had this sense of gratitude for myself. I don't think I've ever just stopped and been like, 'I'm actually grateful for who I am.'"

Gomez also applauded the women in Hollywood who are putting themselves out there by coming forward with their personal experiences with sexual assault and harassment.

"I've cried, but I definitely feel hopeful," she said about the several allegations flooding Hollywood. "As people speak out, I hope that feels powerful to them, because they deserve to feel that. I'm fortunate enough not to have experienced some of the traumatic things that other women have had to go through. I've known people in my family who've gone through those things. I try to let people come to me and open up, to make a safe environment for them to do so."

That stance put Gomez in an awkward predicament, as she recently worked on the film "A Rainy Day in New York" Woody Allen, who has been accused of sexual assault by his own daughter.

"To be honest, I'm not sure how to answer -- not because I'm trying to back away from it," Gomez said when asked whether she considered his past before taking the role. "[The Harvey Weinstein allegations] actually happened right after I had started [on the movie.] They popped up in the midst of it and that's something, yes, I had to face and discuss. I stepped back and thought, 'Wow, the universe works in interesting ways.'"

"So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right.

"But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

The star also claimed she had parted on amicable terms with ex boyfriend The Weeknd, despite the singer recently deleting all traces of her from his social media.

"We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed earlier this month that Selena and Justin are back together, after Justin's pastor Carl Lentz encouraged them to reunite.

A source close to the star said: "They started texting when she was in hospital for her kidney transplant. Justin only found out through the press and he was hurt that she hadn't told him directly.

"He has been going to church every week and spends all his time with his pastor Carl Lentz – Carl has been encouraging 'reconciliation' between the two – to heal their friendship at least – and Justin basically has been asking her for her forgiveness this whole time.

Selena Gomez Opens Up About Reuniting With Justin Bieber

"Jelena" fans have been freaking out ever since Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber apparently reunited last month. And the giddiness has only ramped up with every new sighting of them riding their bikes or indulging in a little PDA. While they've chosen to stay quiet about their rekindled spark until this point, the "Bad Liar" singer addressed his re-emergence in her world in a recent interview.

During a chat for Billboard's "Woman of the Year" feature, the songstress was asked about what it was that brought Bieber back into her life. Though she decided not to name him directly, she also didn't deny their reconnection in any way. "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right," she said. "But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

She continued by considering her broader group of (famous) peers, saying, "And [that goes for] people in general. I mean, I grew up with Demi [Lovato]. Nick and Joe [Jonas] and Miley [Cyrus] — we've gone through seasons in our lives. I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is. It comes back to the idea of me remaining full. I think a true representation of love is beyond just yourself."

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber

At another point in the interview, she mentioned "hanging out with an old friend" — *cough* Bieber *cough* — and said that when they're together, they want every conversation they have to be "intentional." She elaborated: "Meaningful conversations remind you that it's all within where we are. It's not about what's happening with everything else."

It sounds like she might be ignoring the hoopla around her reconciliation with Bieber (and her breakup with The Weeknd) and is instead focusing on that *special someone* who's bringing a little extra meaning into her life right now.

Selena Gomez Reveals the Emotional Reason She Took Back Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez finally broke her silence on her rekindled romance with Justin Bieber. In an interview with Billboard, the 25-year-old singer opened up about why she was drawn back to her former flame and how things are different the second time around.

Gomez—who dated Bieber on-and-off from 2010 to 2014 and recently reconnected with him—cited time as the reason the two were able to spark things up again, despite a toxic romantic history. "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life," Gomez said. "So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

The singer also referenced her reconnected friendships with former Disney Channel stars, such as Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Nick and Joe Jonas, as other examples of how she's developed a different outlook on life from when she first began dating Bieber.

"And [that goes for] people in general. I mean, I grew up with Demi. Nick and Joe and Miley—we've gone through seasons in our lives," she said. "I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is. It comes back to the idea of me remaining full."

Gomez also touched on her relationship with The Weeknd, who she dated for roughly 11 months before she reconnected with Bieber. Despite The Weeknd recently deleting all pictures with Gomez on social media, the "Fetish" singer insisted that the two are still friends. "

Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship," Gomez said. "I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."

Though Gomez didn't confirm nor deny her relationship with Bieber, from the sound of it, she did have a lot of nice things to say about him. We hope the two the best if they do decide to re-spark their relationship.

Selena Gomez on 'Remarkable' Split with The Weeknd and Why She's Reuniting with Justin Bieber

After Selena Gomez quickly rebounded with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber after splitting from The Weeknd in October, fans and even her loved ones wondered why she was giving the "Sorry" singer another chance — and if there was any drama with the R&B singer.

In a new cover interview with Billboard, the "Wolves" singer, 25, sets the record straight on all the rumors.

"Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]," she told the outlet. "I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."

Sources previously told PEOPLE the pair's relationship became difficult because of The Weeknd's touring schedule and Gomez's shooting commitments for her upcoming Woody Allen film.

As for reuniting with Bieber, 23 — whom she's had an on and off relationship with since 2010 — "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20," she said. "I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

The star, who is being honored Thursday night as the outlet's "Woman of the Year," also got candid about her self-esteem after undergoing a kidney transplant earlier this summer.

"It was really hard in the beginning," she said about her surgery scar. "I remember looking at myself in the mirror completely naked and thinking about all the things that I used to bitch about and just asking, 'Why?'"

The entertainer also reveals there used to be "someone" in her life "who pointed out all the things that I didn't feel great about with myself," but she's since gained a new confidence about her body.

"I just think for me, it could be my eyes, my round face, my ears, my legs, my scar. I don't have perfect abs, but I feel like I'm wonderfully made," she said.

Selena Gomez Opens Up About Justin Bieber With a Very Zen Answer

"You have no idea! I'm allowed to do this! And make these choices!" Selena Gomez explains in a new Billboard interview. This is not her reacting to the public's fascination with her rekindled romance with Justin Bieber. Nor is it her explaining her decision to work with Woody Allen. That is actually Gomez demonstrating how she might have privately reacted to negative publicity five years ago. These days, you see, she's much more serene. Zen might be the best word. Chilled out, at least. She does end up answering questions about Bieber, Allen, and her ex, The Weeknd, but her responses are more like tranquil meditations on the situation than they are gossipy confessions. It seems someone has ascended to a higher state of being.

Gomez says she's now made peace with the fact that people have an intense interest in her personal life and career, and she's learned to live with it. "Would I like people to care about worldly things that matter? Things that should actually be discussed more? Yes. But I can't control that. And I don't want to."

So, yes, she will answer Billboard's question about Bieber being back in her life if they want.

"I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life," she says. "So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

She also explains that, despite the gossip, her relationships with her former Disney Channel comrades like Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and the two Jonas brothers she mentions by name (sorry, Kevin), are about as normal as your relationship with people you went to high school with all things considered.

"I grew up with Demi [Lovato]. Nick and Joe [Jonas] and Miley [Cyrus]—we've gone through seasons in our lives," she says. "I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is. It comes back to the idea of me remaining full. I think a true representation of love is beyond just yourself."

As for her relationship with The Weeknd, she actually thinks it ended beautifully.

"Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]," she says. "I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."

In the midst of her shifting relationship status, Gomez also wrapped filming on a new project with controversial director Woody Allen. While filming, sexual abuse in Hollywood became a hot button issue thanks to the Harvey Weinstein scandal, and members of Allen's family maintain that he molested one of his adopted daughters. Gomez, though, isn't sure what to think of it.

"To be honest, I'm not sure how to answer—not because I'm trying to back away from it. [The Harvey Weinstein allegations] actually happened right after I had started," she said. "They popped up in the midst of it. And that's something, yes, I had to face and discuss. I stepped back and thought, 'Wow, the universe works in interesting ways.'"

Though, Gomez certainly is for victims speaking out, noting that while she's never experienced sexual harassment or abuse, she knows women who have.

"As people speak out, I hope that feels powerful to them, because they deserve to feel that," she says.

As for why Gomez suddenly seems so zen about everything, well that's not exactly a kōan. She says she had a profound shift in consciousness after undergoing a kidney transplant due to complications of Lupus earlier this year.

"I just kept thinking about how much my body is my own," she says. "Ever since I was 7, my life always felt like I was giving it to someone else. I felt really alone even though I had a lot of great people around me. But the decisions I was making, were they ever for me? [After the surgery] I had this sense of gratitude for myself. I don't think I've ever just stopped and been like, 'I'm actually grateful for who I am.'"

Selena Gomez Breaks Her Silence on The Weeknd Split and Reuniting With Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez has been named Billboard's 2017 Woman of the Year. In her cover story for the magazine's December 9 issue, she opened up for the first time about her amicable split from The Weeknd and reigniting her on-off relationship with Justin Bieber.

"Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between us]," the "Bad Liar" singer, 25, said of her October breakup with The Weeknd, 27, whom she dated for 10 months. "I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other], and that was pretty remarkable for me."

As for Bieber, 23, entering her life once again, Gomez said, "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away."

That goes for "people in general," she added. "I mean, I grew up with Demi [Lovato]. Nick and Joe [Jonas] and Miley [Cyrus] — we've gone through seasons in our lives. I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is. It comes back to the idea of me remaining full. I think a true representation of love is beyond just yourself. … The littlest things are impactful."

Us Weekly exclusively revealed earlier this month that the Disney alum and the "Love Yourself" crooner are back together three years after they broke up. "Selena and The Weeknd just fizzled and ended amicably — it wasn't dramatic and it wasn't about Justin. But Selena always had feelings for Justin," a source told Us at the time. A second insider countered that The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) "trusted Selena, but he really didn't trust Justin."

Selena Gomez Finally Breaks Her Silence on Justin Bieber: 'I Cherish People Who Have Really ...

It's time to just face the facts: We now exist in a world where Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are dating...again. Don't know what I'm talking about? Let me catch you up to speed: Gomez was dating The Weeknd, the Northern Hemisphere's Sexiest Human. However, something—I don't know what, witchcraft?—propelled her to rekindle things with Bieber, a.k.a. the Boston Barefoot Bandit, shortly after leaving The Weeknd. Maybe it was the fact she and Bieber both attend Hillsong Church that brought her back in. Or his sweaty hockey jerseys. Or his timeless holiday anthem "Mistletoe." Your guess is as good as mine, but it's the truth: Jelena 3.0 is officially a go. These kissing pics (also involving sweaty clothes—blech) prove it.

Gomez and Bieber have remained mum about their recently-revived relationship, which is to be expected. Their 2011 puppy love was the subject of relentless tabloid scrutiny, so it's understandable why they'd want to keep a relatively low profile this time around. That being said, Gomez did nod to Bieber—slightly—in her new interview with Billboard magazine.

Here's what Gomez said after she was asked how Bieber came back into her life:

"I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really
impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing
something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone
ever goes away. And [that goes for] people in general. I mean, I grew
up with Demi [Lovato]. Nick and Joe [Jonas] and Miley [Cyrus] -- we've
gone through seasons in our lives. I don't think it's as serious as
people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew
up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody
is. It comes back to the idea of me remaining full. I think a true
representation of love is beyond just yourself. It's me going to get
coffee earlier this morning and talking with a woman who was
celebrating her birthday and going to Disneyland for the first time. I
told her about my favorite things there, and she got excited, and then
I got excited because she was excited. The littlest things are
impactful."

OK, this is essentially a non-response response, but read between the lines. Gomez didn't say Bieber wasn't back in her life. Plus, earlier in the interview, Gomez said she's been "hanging out with an old friend" who helps keep her in the moment. "Basically every conversation, we want it to be intentional," she explained. "Meaningful conversations remind you that it's all within where we are. It's not about what's happening with everything else." Hmmm...we wonder who she's talking about?! Maybe the person who she went on this totally casual, '50s-esque bike ride with? That's where my money's at.

Selena Gomez on Taking Justin Bieber Back and Staying Friends With The Weeknd

Selena Gomez, Billboard

Ruven Afanador/Billboard

Time is finally on Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's side.

Gomez has been named Billboard's Woman of the Year, and in the magazine's cover story (out Thursday), she opened up about Bieber's reentry into her life. "I'm 25. I'm not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life. So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn't right. But that doesn't mean caring for someone ever goes away. And [that goes for] people in general," the former Wizards of Waverly Place said, citing Disney Channel alums Miley Cyrus, JoeJonas, Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. "We've gone through seasons in our lives. I don't think it's as serious as people make things out to be half the time. It's just my life. I grew up with all of these people, and it's so cool to see where everybody is."

Reuniting with Bieber and other people from her past "comes back to the idea of me remaining full," she explained. "I think a true representation of love is beyond just yourself. It's me going to get coffee earlier this morning and talking with a woman who was celebrating her birthday and going to Disneyland for the first time. I told her about my favorite things there, and she got excited, and then I got excited because she was excited. The littlest things are impactful."

This marks the first time Gomez has spoken about Bieber since their recent reunion.

Gomez is "really proud" of the fact that she still has a "true friendship" with TheWeeknd after they split up. "I truly have never experienced anything like that in my life. We ended it as best friends, and it was genuinely about encouraging and caring [for each other]," the pop princess said of ending their 10-month romantic relationship. "And that was pretty remarkable for me."

(The interview was conducted before Gomez and The Weeknd stopped following each other on social media.)

The last year has been transitional for Gomez, who has been battling Lupus for years and underwent a kidney transplant in July. Having spent the majority of her life in the limelight, she's also taking more control of her career. "I'm really proud of where I am right now. I handle things in a healthy way. I can enjoy where I'm at. I love being able to say 'no.' I like being a part of the world," she said. "People are so terrified of other people. I see it in my generation a lot. There's so much anxiety and angst, and the pressure just keeps getting worse. [But] I'm proudest of not becoming jaded. I have every reason to be like, 'F--k all of you.' And I don't. I'm going to have the bad days where I don't want to leave my bedroom—but I'm ready for them."

Gomez said it "definitely" hurts whenever she reads gossip about her personal life. "For a while I just wanted to defend myself. I wanted to scream and say, 'You have no idea! I'm allowed to do this! And make these choices!' I loved being a part of the projects I was on, I loved what I was doing, and I feel like the attention to that kept going away. I remember feeling that I was defined not by my work but by who I was. The moment I released 'The Heart Wants What It Wants,' which was the first time I had shared a lot of where I was in my personal life, I think a switch happened there. Would I like people to care about worldly things that matter? Things that should actually be discussed more? Yes. But I can't control that. And I don't want to."

Now that she's older, Gomez is more discerning with whose advice she takes. "You know, I have to be very careful with what opinions I listen to. And society teaches you to honor and respect the people around you. But loyalty and honesty can mean something completely separate. And I think altering or editing myself for the sake of others has been something that I have done my whole life. I've had to accept where I am. It took me about five years and moments where I needed to step away and be alone and fight those fights on my own, or go away to a place where I could focus on that," she says. "And that time for me was so painful and really hard and very lonely. But I really, really felt that that's what helped me feel satisfied with where I am."

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's Date Night Includes Church and Plenty of PDA

It looks Jelena fans' prayers have been answered.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were photographed heading to church together Wednesday night for an evening service. Keeping it casual, Bieber wore a gray hoodie and sweatpants while Gomez wore a brown jacket and striped top. She also continued to sport her bright blond hairdo, which she debuted on the red carpet at the 2017 American Music Awards before her comeback performance.

"Selena and Justin arrived separately for Wednesday night church services at Zoe Church," a source told E! News. "Selena was in a great mood, chatting with friends and happy to see them. Justin arrived a few minutes before Selena and was waiting for her there. They mingled before sitting down for the service."

However, they weren't the only celebrities to attend the service that evening. Kourtney Kardashian was also there, which could have led to an awkward encounter considering the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the "Sorry" singer previously sparked romance rumors.

After church, the pair left separately and drove to the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills. They sat outside on the restaurant's patio—just the two of them—and ordered a few drinks.

"They sat across from each other and listened to a jazz singer," the source said.

It looks like Bieber and Gomez enjoyed a good conversation and a little PDA, too.

"It seemed like a serious conversation, but Selena broke into a smile a few times," the source said. "At the end of their conversation, Justin came over and put his hand on Selena's shoulder and gave her a little massage. She gave him a long, very tight hug. She seemed so happy and comfortable with him. She didn't want to let him go and then they kissed quickly and said goodbye. Selena was smiling and very happy with what Justin had said."

What do you think? Will Gomez and Bieber's reunion last? Tell us in the comments section below.

New Video Of Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Proves They're Still Going Strong

It's Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's world and we're all just living in it. The rekindled duo is seemingly spending all of their time together ever since Gomez's split with The Weeknd back in October of 2017. If fans need any more proof they're going strong, we have it. A new video of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez casually hanging out after church is a reminder these two are just living their damn lives and they don't care who knows it. That means you, God.

Gomez and Bieber appear to have formed some sort of couple's routine. Between casual bike rides, hockey games, and going to church, they're just one shared Netflix password away from being your regular ol' millennial couple. (You know, minus the whole being famous and constantly under the prying eyes of the public part.)

In this latest video, a blonde Gomez and Bieber dipped into the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills after a church service on Wednesday, Nov. 29. In the footage, they're truly just sitting around in the lobby shooting the shit. TMZ reports the church service took place inside the hotel, and Gomez returned inside after spotting photographers. Biebs followed.

Also — AND THIS IS NOT A JUDGEMENT, THIS IS SIMPLY AN OBSERVATION — Bieber wore white socks with slide-on sandals to church.

I know. I know. I know. It doesn't matter... I'm just saying...

Still, if the two really are worried about what the whole world thinks, something tells me we wouldn't catch them out and about together THIS much.

I mean, it was only a few weeks ago that Gomez brought a sweet pup named Charlie to one of Bieber's hockey games where she was photographed kissing the "I'm The One" singer over the guard wall. And literally, just before that, she called things off with The Weeknd after seriously dating him for 10 months.

Around that time, a source told E! News Gomez and Bieber were just friends. The insider claimed,

It sure looks like more than that, now.

Despite their obvious growing relationship, the pair spent Thanksgiving separately. One insider told E! Bieber hopes that changes for Christmas, but for now, Gomez felt like it was too soon to bring him back home to her family.

The source claims,

In fact, Bieber seems to know he has A LOT of making up to do. Back in October, a friend of the Biebs told Elle magazine,

I guess at the end of the day we just want these two to be happy, healthy, and to tell us every little detail about their relationship.

It's like, is that too much to ask?

A reported member of Justin Bieber's security team has been charged with a DUI for his involvement in a crash that injured two Miami, Florida, police officers, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE.

Michael Arana was charged with multiple counts of leaving the scene of a crash, as well as one count of driving under the influence on Thursday. The Miami Herald first reported the news.

Arana allegedly crashed into a police cruiser in the early morning hours on Thursday while speeding. He then fled the scene, before driving over a median and being stopped by two other officers.

According to the police report, Arana admitted to police that he had been drinking, and crumpled drink receipts were found in his jean pockets indicating that he closed his tab just after midnight.

The officers injured in the crash were taken to local hospitals with back and head injuries, but are now recovering at home, said the police spokesperson.

Arana, 32, has been pictured with Bieber before, and appeared in a 2016 documentary film, BODYGUARDS: Secret Lives From The Watchtower, in which he was described as the pop star's bodyguard. According to Rolling Stone, Bieber also appeared in the documentary.

Justin Bieber's head of security arrested for DUI after crash injures cops

Justin Bieber's head of security Mikey Arana has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) after a car crash that injured two Florida police officers on Thursday.

Arana, who has long been a member of the 23-year-old Sorry singer's team, is facing three separate DUI charges, and three of leaving the scene of an accident according to TMZ.

The Miami-Dade County Police officers' injuries meant they were taken into hospital, with one having to be airlifted. Both have now been released from the hospital, police officials confirmed on Twitter.

"Thankfully, both of our officers involved in the crash earlier this morning have been discharged from the hospital and continue to recover at home," they wrote.

Officers told Erica Rakow, a reporter for WPLG Local 10 News who was present at the scene, that Arana refused to do a field sobriety test or give a blood sample and that investigators claim they found receipts for alcoholic drinks in his pockets.

Bieber was was himself arrested for DUI in Miami in 2014 after he was pulled over for drag racing in a Lamborghini Gallardo. He admitted being under the influence of alcohol and drugs and as part of his plea deal gave $50,000 to a local children's charity.
