Is Selena Gomez jealous of Hailey Baldwin? Justin Bieber's ex may be causing tension between the recently reunited Jelena.
TMZ reports that Gomez and Bieber recently got into a fight over Baldwin. It apparently started when Bieber called Baldwin to clear the air with his ex. Bieber was linked to Baldwin early last year, and they faced hookup reports for several months. But the relationship soon fizzled out.

Bieber then decided to tell Gomez about his phone call with Baldwin. Gomez didn't appreciate her boyfriend's newfound honesty. They got into a fight, which reportedly led them to Christian couples therapy.
Still, People sources downplayed the therapy reports, saying that Bieber and Gomez are just "working on their relationship with the church's help" so they do not make the same mistakes. An insider also told the website that Gomez understands why Bieber contacted Baldwin.

"She at first wasn't thrilled that he had been in contact with people from his past, but now she wants him to do whatever it takes for him to move forward," a Bieber source said. "If that involves apologizing to people in his past, she doesn't mind."
And Selena Gomez doesn't have any reason to be jealous of Hailey Baldwin. Baldwin has moved on from her ex and is dating Shawn Mendes. Mendes and Baldwin were even spotted holding hands and cuddling in Toronto earlier this week.
"Hailey is dating Shawn Mendes," a source toldUs Weekly. "There is nothing going on between her and Justin. She's not interested in Justin in the slightest and he's not interested in her. They've both moved on. The messages were platonic, and friendly."

For now, things between Bieber and Gomez are going well. They recently went on a date to the Sugar Factory in Seattle. And when Gomez walked out because his dancing was creating too much of a scene, Bieber dutifully followed her.
But not everyone is happy about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's romance. TMZ reported that Gomez's mom, Mandy Teefey, got into a fight with her daughter when she found out about the couples therapy. Teefey doesn't approve of Bieber, and hearing about the couples therapy made her realize that Gomez might be in this relationship with him for the long haul.
Selena Gomez's family reportedly is not happy that she is back with Justin Bieber.
Teefey even went to the hospital following the dispute, though People reported that the checkup wasn't solely because of Bieber. "It's true her family doesn't approve of Justin, but this wasn't just over a fight about him," a source said.

Indeed, Gomez's family is still not a fan of Bieber's. Bieber isn't even invited to her family's holiday party. But despite her mom's disapproval and the drama over Bieber's ex, it seems Jelena is going full-steam ahead.
