The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Major Lazer Nab MTV EMA 2017 Nominations

The nominees for the 2017 MTV European Music Awards have been announced, and The Chainsmokers are the big winners in electronic dance.

Not only was the American duo nominated for the Best Electronic category, it also stands in the Best World Stage, next to fellow American Steve Aoki, thanks to their performances at the special "Live from Isle of MTV Malta 2017." Tomorrowland 2017 hits that category, as well. 

Clean Bandit holds it down for electronic dance in the Best Song category among DJ Khaled, Shawn Mendes, and other big hit makers. The xx come in for Best Alternative, but we dance lovers heart them, too.
