The Mullingar star announced Irish dates in Dublin and Belfast as part of his new tour which kicks off in the capital on Monday March 12, 2018
NIALL Horan will play his biggest Irish solo show at the 3Arena next March.
The Mullingar star announced Irish dates in Dublin and Belfast as part of his Flicker World Tour which kicks off in the capital on Monday March 12, 2018.
And the One Direction heartthrob has teased fans that they could see some huge stars on stage with him in surprise cameos across the tour.
The superstar wowed an intimate Dublin crowd with his first solo show on home soil at the Olympia Theatre back in August, and promised fans left disappointed after they missed out on tickets that he would be back with bigger shows.
He revealed: "This was called the Flicker Sessions for that reason. I love going to gigs and I love live music myself so playing the album to the fans was something I wanted to do.
"I called it the Sessions as it gave off the idea that is exactly what I was doing.
"The Olympia was class, I've always wanted to play it, I've been to a lot of gigs there myself but the idea would be to stretch it out and go take it to the next step, if I can sell it out."
And as thousands of fans look set to vie for tickets to the much-anticipated 3Arena show, here's all you need to know about the gig and getting your hands on tickets.
How much are tickets?
Tiered seating tickets are priced from €48.90 to €54.50, while standing tickets are €48.90.
Tickets are limited to eight per person.
What time do tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday October 13.
Will there be a support act?
Niall will be supported in Dublin and across all of his European dates by Julia Michaels.
The American singer-songwriter was behind mega hits from Justin Bieber's Sorry to Selena Gomez's Hands to Myself before she made the move to performing herself.
And here's everything you need to do on Friday as tickets go on general sale at 9am:
1) GET yourself signed in on Ticketmaster. If you don't have an account, get one right now.
There is virtually no point in trying to set one up when the tickets go on sale.
2) WRITE down your account username and password so you're not trying to remember them as all the tickets are selling out.
And Verified By Visa – it exists and you need to know your password to make sure things run smoothly on the day.
3) CLICK quick when the 'view tickets' button becomes available. Select the number of tickets you want and go.
4) SET the default to 'best available' as you don't want to be wasting time deciding between areas.
5) THE annoying 'captcha' code has to be typed in properly, you have two minutes to do it so it should be fine but just don't get distracted.
After this screen, you are brought through the payment process. And voila, you're done!
6) TURN on your computer in good time. Tickets go on sale on Friday morning at 9am but you should have the PC on and logged into your Ticketmaster account by at least 8.50am.
NIALL TOURIN' Niall Horan set to earn up to €10m from ticket sales during his Flicker World Tour
7) BY this time, you should have selected the option for the 3Arena on Monday March 12, and be ready, patiently waiting until the 'More info' option becomes 'View tickets'.
8) DON'T mistake the actual concert ticket for a car parking ticket or a VIP package ticket that you don't particularly want.
More reason for you to be logged on early and ready to go.
9) HAVE only one browser window open. If you try to load multiple browsers, you might get an error message.
10) IF possible, have as many devices on the go as you can.
Tablets, mobiles and PCs – get them all out and ready to go.
Make sure you are logged into your Ticketmaster account on all devices.
