Despite being a multimillionaire pop star, Justin Bieber apparently likes to look for ladies in a pretty pedestrian spot -- Instagram. And even though he's rich and famous, it doesn't always guarantee success.
In fact, sometimes it guarantees public humiliation!
The star was browsing the social media site when he came across a video posted by a gym in Georgia, Fitness on Broughton, where a blonde employee caught his eye.
In the short clip a pretty woman clad in work out gear caught Justin's eye. Instead of simply continuing to scroll, Justin apparently made it his mission to find out the woman's identity -- resorting to sliding in to the direct messages of the gym's Instagram account.
"Who is that girl in your latest post," Justin wrote to the gym.
Well, it turned out the mystery woman was 22 year old Jessica Gober, who quickly found out about the inquiry -- and took to social media to share it with the world.
Jessica posted screenshots of the incident on Twitter on Aug. 9, tweeting alongside the snaps, "Did this actually just happen... lmao Justin Bieber just messaged the gym that I work at and asked who I was hahahaha WTF"
For their part, the gym also took to Instagram on Aug. 11 to proudly share the story, posting a collage of press clippings alongside the caption, "Our girl @jessigoberr😁 From working the front desk to working the front page!!"
Though we're sure she was flattered, Jessica has no intention of following up with the singer. Later that same day she added insult to injury when she not only rebuffed Justin's advances, but shared four photos alongside her boyfriend, tweeting, "I've got everything I need right here" with a heart emoji.
So far Justin hasn't weighed in on the aftermath of his DM.
