Hot 100 Chart Moves: P!nk, Bruno Mars & Logic Hit the Top 40

"What About Us," "Versace on the Floor" & "1-800-273-8255" all reach the region.

As previously reported, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, becomes just the second single to reign for at least 15 weeks in the 59-year history of the Billboard Hot 100, as it leads the list (dated Sept. 2) for a 15th frame. Only Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's "One Sweet Day" has spent more time at No. 1: 16 weeks, in 1995-96.

Beyond "Despacito," Cardi B blasts from No. 8 to No. 3 on the Hot 100 with her debut hit "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" ties the record for the most weeks (32) spent in the top 10.

Who else makes notable Hot 100 chart moves this week?

P!nk, "What About Us"
Following its first full week of tracking, the lead single from Beautiful Trauma, due Oct. 13, rockets 82-29 on the Hot 100. It roars to No. 3 on Digital Song Sales with 55,000 downloads sold in the week ending Aug. 17, according to Nielsen Music. It also places at No. 41 on Radio Songs with 30 million in airplay audience after its first full tracking week. With the song's ascent, P!nk scores her 23rd top 40 Hot 100 hit.

Similarly, Mars earns his 18th top 40 Hot 100 hit, as his latest single surges 43-33 with the chart's greatest gain in streaming following the Aug. 13 arrival of its official video. It debuts at No. 37 on Streaming Songs with a 73 percent increase to 10.9 million U.S. streams. It also jumps 44-36 on Digital Song Sales, up 31 percent to 15,000 sold.

Meanwhile, prior single "That's What I Like" ranks at No. 8 on the Hot 100, marking its 27th week in the top 10. Only seven titles, led by Sheeran's "Shape" and two other smashes (32 weeks each), have spent more time in the top 10.

The video premiere (Aug. 17) of "1-800-273-8255" helps grant Logic his second top 40 Hot 100 entry (50-37), as well as Cara her fourth and Khalid his second (joining his own "Location" at No. 27). Logic's track, whose title doubles as the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, debuts on Digital Song Sales at No. 15 (27,000, up 166 percent) and re-enters Streaming Songs at No. 44 (10.5 million, up 17 percent).

Notably, just beyond the Hot 100, Bieber and BloodPop's "Friends" debuts at No. 6 on the Hot 100's Bubbling Under chart. Released on Aug. 17, it starts at No. 31 on Digital Song Sales with 16,000 sold in less than a day of tracking. Following its first full week of data measurement, it's set to launch on the Sept. 9-dated Hot 100, highlights of which will post Monday (Aug. 28) on Billboard.com.
